Billfold's preferred printer for service tickets and receipt printer is the Epson TM-m30 model. Additional information from the manufacture regarding hardware specs and limitations can be found here. Instructions for connecting the printer to a network are at the end of this article.
In-App Printer Connection
Turn on the printer which will output a ticket with network connection details
Verify that the POS is connected to the same network before opening POS application
Open the POS Application (i.e. BRT 0.0.0 GNR or BRT 0.0.0 LTE)
Open settings by tapping the settings icon in the bottom left hand of the screen
Click "Printer" from the left side of the settings menu
Select the operation that you wish to achieve
Print all order items on one printer will print total order details
Differentiate orders over a few printers allows for category specific items on an order to printer to different printer locations
Printer for receipts prints an itemized receipt with signature and manual tip selection for orders (available only in BRT 3.11.4+ POS application versions)
Click "Connect" and wait for the printer with the same IP Address printed out during the connection process to show up
Click the Printer IP that corresponds to the printed ticket and wait for the POS application to return to the settings page
NOTE: Successful connection will return the printer IP address within the printer settings page. Pressing "CONNECT" again will enter the POS into printer discovery mode and restart the connection process
Exit Printer settings by tapping back into the POS menu or into another settings option

Hardware Details
Printer: Epson TM-m30 series
Thermal Paper Roll: 80 mm width
Power Cable and AC Adapter: Included with the printer.
Connection Cables:
Wifi Setup: Wireless dongle (for TM-m30 and TM-m30II models; TM-m30III has built-in Wi-Fi)
LAN Setup: Ethernet cable (sold separately)
When choosing an installation location:
For Wi-Fi connection: it is important to keep the printer near the network router (recommended distance is less than 150 feet, from your router)
Wi-Fi connection is not recommended for use in kitchens due to higher risk of interference with the connection
For LAN connection: You'll need an Ethernet cable long enough to reach from your router to the desired printer location.
Keep the printer away from heat sources to prevent potential discoloration of the thermal paper
Connect the Printer to Power
Plug the power cable into the printer’s AC adapter port
Connect the AC adapter to a power outlet
Turn the printer on using the power button
Load Thermal Paper
Open the printer cover
Insert the paper roll with the paper feeding from the bottom
Pull a small amount of paper over the edge and close the cover
Connect the Printer to the Network or Device
For TM-m30 and TM-m30II models, ensure the wireless dongle is connected. (TM-m30III has built-in Wi-Fi)
Download and install the Epson TM Utility app on your device
Open the app and select the Wi-Fi Setup Wizard.
Follow the prompts to select your printer model and enter the Wi-Fi name (SSID) and password for the network you're connecting it to. The printer must be connected to the same network that provides internet access for your POS device so that the printer and POS are on the same network.
