A Revenue Center Group is a way to organize revenue centers. Think of it as a folder or container where you can categorize and gather related revenue centers. For example, if you want to view sales for all food vendors, create a group that includes all food vendor revenue centers. You can do the same for bars or craft merchants.
How to Create Revenue Center Groups
In your Billfold Dashboard, navigate to the event you wish to create Revenue Center Groups.
Click on the Revenue Center Groups tab.
On the right, click New Group.
Give the group a title and description, and click Create.
Now that you have created a group add revenue centers to it.
Within your event, click the Revenue Centers tab.
Create a new revenue center or edit an existing one.
In the Revenue Centers Groups field, add the groups you wish the revenue center to be in and click Update.
You can even get more specific! If you have food vendors with different payment processes, you could create a group for "food vendors enrolled for direct settlement." This group would contain only those specific revenue centers.
Reporting on Revenue Center Groups
Go to the sales summary, and use the filters to choose your event, Revenue Center Groups, and even dates if you’d like.
Note: If a revenue center is in more than one Revenue Center Group, it will be represented in each group chosen for the report.
For example, you could create a group encompassing all bars, another group encompassing bars selling liquor, and another encompassing bars selling a specific type of whiskey. You may have a revenue center that fits all three categories. If you create a report using all three Revenue Center Groups, the revenue center will be represented three times, once for each group.
